More than twenty church leaders from Laos took part in a life-changing Stewardship Program from the 25th to the 30th of July. The goal of the caravan, which comprised elders and treasurers of local churches was to raise the level of spiritual discernment among those who give to the Church through their tithes and offerings.

Laos is a country in Southeast Asia with predominantly Buddhist and animist customs. However, a growing community of Adventists in the region is working to study the Bible and assist the ministry in a variety of ways, including by embracing the principles of faithful stewardship.

Stewardship leaders from various organizations of the church were in attendance for the Stewardship Program. They embarked on a mission to inspire and encourage church members about the important role of tithes and offerings in the Adventist church.

The Combined Offering Plan and its potential to improve the mission of the church globally was a prominent topic of discussion during the caravan. Participants engaged in insightful discussions regarding the challenges faced by members regarding tithes and offerings, but they also shared encouraging stories of God's love and plenty poured on those who remain committed to their pledges.

The Combined Offering method is a practical means to contribute spiritual and financial support to congregations that engage in the church's mission in any region of the globe, both established and developing.

One of the caravan's most remarkable moments was the baptism of five persons who chose to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. The baptisms were held on the banks of the Mekong River during a strong rainstorm, representing a profound spiritual transformation in the midst of nature's elements.

The Stewardship Program not only gave useful insights to church leaders, but it also served as a platform for cross-cultural communication and mutual understanding. The passion and dedication of the Laotian Adventist community, who are resolved to be faithful stewards of God's blessings, were on display for participants.

"The Stewardship Program was an incredible experience that showcased the community's unwavering faith and dedication," One of the pastors said. “Regardless of the obstacles, our church in Laos is dedicated to supporting the work of the church and promoting God's message of love and compassion."

All who participated felt a renewed feeling of dedication to spiritual awareness and responsibility within the church as a result of the event. These church leaders hope that by understanding the significance of tithing and offering, they would be able to improve their ministry and favorably touch the lives of Laotians and others.
