SSD-WM Prints First Devotional Book for Women by Women
The first devotional for women by women is recently off-the-press – and almost 5,000 copies have already been dispatched to all three-Philippine Unions, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. Other countries in the Southern-Asia Pacific region also made Color My World with Love available in Bangla for Bangladesh, Tamil and Sinhala for Sri Lanka, and Bahasa for Malaysia and Indonesia.
Printing the WM devotional fulfills the Spiritual Growth Objective # 5 of the GC “I Will Go” Strategic Plan: To disciple individuals and families into spirit-filled lives. For the SSD WM, a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for the objective is to facilitate printing CMWWL to encourage women to engage in personal devotions that nurture and disciple them in their relationship with Jesus.
Processing the right to print CMWWL was started in 2020 by immediate past SSD-WM Director Helen B. Gulfan. After securing the copyright in February 2021, Virgie Baloyo promptly negotiated with Philippine Publishing House for a price that will allow Mission/Conferences to raise scholarship funds for their teen girls. So, when you buy the WM devotional book at P 350, to be blessed spiritually, scholarship recipients will also be blessed.
