The Adventist church in Romblon (RM) responded to the mission of the church to conduct simultaneous evangelistic campaigns across its territory from April 9-14, 2023, in order to reach more people for Christ through care group ministry.

As a result of the evangelism efforts in four areas, 101 individuals were baptized at various locations after accepting Christ. Each of the four areas had a unique focus on family enrichment, biblical prophecy, and moral rehabilitation.

Centrally located in the Philippines, the island province of Romblon confronts unique challenges in terms of community outreach. Each of the province's most significant islands, including Tablas, Sibuyan, Corcuera, Banton, Concepcion, and San Jose, has its own municipalities and villages.

In this region, geography is one of the greatest obstacles to the dissemination of the gospel. Because the islands are dispersed across a vast region, it is difficult to conduct simultaneous meetings in multiple locations. The mission, union, and division leaders of the Adventist Church were determined to reach out to the province's communities despite these obstacles.

To address the perceived needs of the communities, evangelistic gatherings were organized through ceaseless efforts. Leaders of the church recognized the importance of adapting evangelistic strategies to meet the particular needs of each community. The Adventist church was able to effectively communicate the message of hope and salvation to the people using this strategy.

Despite geographical limitations, Adventists in Romblon were committed to spreading their faith. Members of the local church in Romblon recognized the significance of the message of hope, especially in areas where the gospel may be difficult to access. With the assistance of church leaders, the collaboration between church members overcame the obstacles and effectively disseminated the word of God throughout the region.

Pastor Orley Fajilan, the president of the Adventist church in Romblon, conveyed appreciation for the success of evangelistic efforts in Rombon. This is in coordination with Pastor Arnel Gabin, vice president of the Southern Asia-Pacific region (SSD) for the NDR-IEL, his wife, Dr. Irelyn Gabin, SSD associate director for the NDR-IEL, and Pastor Lowell Quinto, field secretary for IEL in the Central Philippines.

Pastor Arnel Gabin, NDR-IEL Coordinator and vice president for the Southern Asia-Pacific region, reminded the congregation in Romblon that the work does not conclude when individuals are baptized. He stated, "That we should continue to care for and disciple all the newly baptized, and that we should continue to be a blessing to others." He added that all God's followers should disseminate the good news of salvation while they still have the opportunity.
