The new academic year officially kicked off at Asia-Pacific International University (AIU), ushering in a momentous occasion as the institution welcomed its new president, Dr. Jarurat Sriratanaprapat, along with new faculty and staff members. The campus also buzzed with energy as a remarkable 277 first-year students began their educational journey, an impressive feat following 50 attendees during the previous summer semester. AIU has etched its name in the records of history with this unprecedented first-year student enrollment.

The momentous day was marked on August 7, as incoming first-year students eagerly took their entrance examinations. Both Thai and international students had a demanding schedule ahead, which included sitting for the English Proficiency Examination and Math Placement Examination. They also underwent rigorous admission interviews on the same day.

The following day, August 8, witnessed the campus coming alive with a series of orientation activities. Those present were treated to a captivating sight—AIU's halls brimming with fresh faces, a truly inspiring spectacle! The newly enrolled students embarked on a comprehensive tour of AIU's sprawling campus, capturing memorable photos of their student identification cards along the way.
Today, as one stroll through AIU's corridors, it is easy to spot the occasional new face, some still sporting puzzled expressions as they navigate their way to classrooms and acclimate themselves to their roles as university students.

AIU is privileged to welcome an impressive cohort of 277 first-year students, and the institution is thrilled to offer them a vibrant academic experience at Asia-Pacific International University. These students are poised to forge enduring friendships, participate actively in club activities, and partake in a myriad of enriching experiences.

Ebenesar Uri Brown, a first-year student majoring in Nursing Science International at the Mission Faculty of Nursing, shared his thoughts on the transition, stating, “As a first-year student, I feel like being a new university student is a little bit nerve-wracking because I am in a new environment surrounded by new people. However, AIU is filled with different activities, which makes it fun. AIU so far is good.”

Sharon Gabriella Manalu, majoring in English for Communication within the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, reflected, "I sense the need to remain more focused on my studies, but I am thoroughly enjoying the welcoming environment here. Everyone has been exceptionally kind."

The dawn of this new academic year at AIU sets the stage for a promising chapter in the lives of these aspiring scholars, and the university eagerly anticipates their growth and achievements in the coming years.
