After months of groundwork and preparation, the Adventist Church in Thailand launches its third national evangelistic campaign in the country beginning March 1 to 4, 2023. The Christ for Thailand initiative is a nationwide evangelistic campaign with the goal of reaching communities within the 10/40 window. The campaign aims to preach the gospel across Thailand with the participation of church members in more than 30 locations nationwide. The movement is mobilizing resources and volunteers as it aims to reach as many people as possible with the gospel of Christ. The program is projected to influence the region's spiritual environment and to provide hope to individuals seeking purpose in their lives.

Jacinth Adap, treasurer of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division of the Adventist Church, expressed his great delight with the church's daring initiatives to interact with underserved metropolitan regions in the SSD territory. Speaking as part of the nationwide project, Adap remarked that although these challenges may appear daunting, the Holy Spirit's participation would permit significant progress toward realizing the church's purpose. "Despite what seem to be insurmountable hurdles, the Holy Spirit will perform miracles to guarantee that His mission is achieved, even in the most distant regions," Adap said.

Themed “Christ for Thailand” ("พระคริสต์เพื่อประเทศไทย"), the evangelism campaign features church leaders, pastors, and laypeople from all across the Southern Asia-Pacific region who will encourage guests to find hope in Jesus in the midst of crises, uncertainty, loss, depression, disillusionment, and anxiety.

Following the success of two national evangelistic campaigns held in May and November of last year, the leadership of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division decided to hold a third campaign in a move aimed at unifying efforts, resources, and collaboration in reaching a wider audience.

The Christ for Thailand campaign is part of a larger strategy to bring together the church and its members to achieve a shared goal.  It will not only focus on reaching each regional territory but also expand efforts to reach more people in a targeted territory. The campaign will involve a range of outreach activities and programs aimed at promoting the gospel and expanding the church's reach in the region.

"We are excited about this new campaign and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on our church and communities," said Pastor Roger Caderma, president of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division. "By working together and pooling our resources, we can achieve great things and make a real difference in people's lives."

In a statement, Pastor Wendell Mandolang, executive secretary of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division said, "We are thrilled to launch the 'Christ for Thailand' campaign. We believe that this event will provide a beacon of hope to individuals who are struggling with various challenges. We hope that through this campaign, people will be introduced to Jesus and find the hope and peace that only He can provide."

The "Christ for Thailand" campaign is just one of many evangelism campaigns that have been launched across the world in recent years. These campaigns seek to reach individuals who may be experiencing difficult circumstances and to provide them with a message of hope and encouragement.
