Rudy Baloyo

Executive Secretary


For the past 36 years, Pastor Rudy Baloyo has served the denomination in various pastoral work in the Central Philippines.  From 1989 to 2000 he served, first as a lay minister, then as a district pastor, church pastor, and later, as Union director for the departments of Church Growth, Youth, and Family, and in 2011 as the Ministerial secretary. 

He is a Theology graduate of Mountain View College, and of Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS) where he earned his Master in Ministry degree.  In 2004 he finished his Doctor in Ministry in the same institution.  He later served Central Philippine Adventist College as Dean of the School of Theology, eventually becoming CPAC’s VP for Student Affairs.

Pastor Rudy Baloyo is passionate about Church Growth. He enjoys teaching, preaching, and conducting training on leadership, nurture, and discipleship.  

Before coming to Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD) Pastor Baloyo was West Visayan Conference president. He currently serves as Executive Secretary of SSD.

In his free time, he goes to the book shop, plays basketball, and works out in the gym.  He loves preparing new sermons to inspire pastors and administrators. When available he serves his Care Group in San Vicente, Silang, Cavite.

Married to Virgie Baloyo, they have three young adult children–Adrian Carlo, Pauleen Angeli, and Merryll though whom they have acquired a son-in-law, Zyjie Dorado.
