LARP’S* FAITHFUL JOURNEY

“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”- Romans 10:17

Larp* journeyed to a small village with confidence and a friendly spirit. He was determined to share the love of Jesus. He approached a random house with tools and an open heart, seeking to lend a helping hand in the family’s garden. This encounter became the beginning of a profound transformation in the lives of the villagers.

Larp, who is from a 10/40 window Budhist country, made the choice to serve this village as a Global Mission Pioneer. His mission was simple: to help, befriend, and introduce the villagers to the love of Jesus. Despite a personal trial when he damaged his eye in an accident, his commitment remained unwavering.

It has been some years since his initial visit, and Larp continues to dedicate himself to this community with unwavering dedication and a friendly attitude. Through hours of working in gardens and fields, he has been friend to the local people and has shared Biblical stories through small talks while working. In this humble village, where the name of Jesus was once unfamiliar, a remarkable transformation has unfolded. The fruits of Larp’s labor are evident, as 45 individuals have embraced Jesus into their hearts, and the ripple of interest continues to grow.

Sabbaths are now a cherished time of worship in Larp’s home. The name of Jesus, once unfamiliar, is now lifted in gratitude. The villagers gather throughout the week, creating a community bound by their newfound faith and hope.

Let us continue to pray for these precious villagers as they walk in their journey of faith with confidence and hope. The seeds of hope planted by Larp will bear abundant fruit by God’s grace. Let us lift our hearts in gratitude and prayer, asking that the message of hope from this village spreads to other corners of this country.

Please, pray for our missionaries, volunteers, and Global Mission Pioneers. Your faithfulness sustains their ministry.

CHALLENGE FOR THE FAMILY: Go on a prayer walk around your neighborhood or town, praying for each household and community member you encounter. Ask God to bless them, meet their needs, and open their hearts to His love and message of hope, just as Larp did for the villagers.
