Singapore Conference Closes 2025 With Renewed Mission and Growing Harvest

Uncategorized November 12, 2025

As 2025 draws to a close, our hearts overflow with gratitude to the God who has led, sustained, and blessed His Church in Singapore. Through every joy and trial, His faithful hand has guided us, reminding us that “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.”

In a nation of six million, our book membership of about 3,400 believers may seem small, yet God delights to use a faithful few to accomplish great things for His glory. The Adventist movement continues to shine as a living witness of His grace in this modern and dynamic city.

Living the Vision of Harvest 2025
The theme “Harvest 2025” has united our Conference in purpose and passion. It reminded every member that we are called to be both sowers and reapers in God’s great field.

Across the Conference, churches aligned their ministries toward intentional disciple-making. Pastors and lay leaders invested in small groups, mentorship, and Bible study initiatives that deepened faith and multiplied witnesses.
We witnessed members stepping into spiritual leadership—ordinary believers becoming mentors, prayer warriors, and Bible teachers. Homes became mission fields, workplaces turned into witnessing grounds, and discipleship grew not through programs but through daily surrender to Christ.

Reaching Communities with Christ’s Love
The work of Adventist Community Services (ACS), working closely with our three affiliated centres, continued to shine as a light of compassion through acts of care, friendship, and prayer. The elderly, single parents, and families in need experienced the love of Christ in tangible ways.

At Thomson Chinese Church, a special worship service for seniors continued to grow, with several attendees choosing to be baptised. Inspired by this success, other churches began exploring similar neighbourhood ministries to bring hope and wholeness to their communities.

Our schools also remained vibrant mission outposts. San Yu Adventist School and Adventist Schoolhouse provided Christ-centred learning environments where truth and grace shaped young hearts. Weeks of Prayer, Bible camps, and character-building activities sowed seeds of faith. Many students and parents expressed renewed spiritual interest, with some joining church fellowships.

Indeed, Christian education remains one of our most powerful evangelistic agencies, transforming lives for both character and eternity.

Evangelism: The Heartbeat of Harvest 2025
Evangelism beat vigorously at the centre of our Conference life. Churches across Singapore engaged in dynamic outreach through health programs, friendship evangelism, public meetings, and digital media.

By God’s grace, we have reached 65% of our Harvest 2025 goal, with many more individuals now engaged in Bible studies and discipleship. Every decision for Christ represented answered prayers and faithful witness.

Harvest 2025 was designed to make evangelism a continuous rhythm—of preparing, sowing, cultivating, reaping, and preserving. Resources and training were shared across churches and institutions, helping members make mission a lifestyle rather than an event.

Every Adventist was called to be a missionary—right where God has placed them—to shine, to serve, and to share Jesus until the work is finished.

Training and Empowering God’s People
To strengthen the body of Christ, the Conference prioritised leadership development and spiritual empowerment. Pastors, elders, and lay leaders received training in discipleship, preaching, youth mentorship, and health evangelism.

Special attention was given to youth and young adults, recognising their vital role in God’s harvest. Through mission camps, retreats, and leadership training, young people discovered their calling to serve. Many took active roles in worship, community outreach, and digital mission—using creativity and energy to advance God’s kingdom.

These initiatives reaffirmed that every believer is called, gifted, and sent. The harvest is abundant, and every hand is needed for the work of God.

798 Thomson: A Lighthouse for Mission
A significant highlight of 2025 was the near completion of the Conference building at 798 Thomson. More than a building, it represents a vision—a hub where worship, health, media, and community engagement unite for the gospel.
This new home for the Singapore Conference headquarters, two congregations, Hope Channel Singapore, and the Youngberg Wellness Lifestyle Centre stands as a witness for mission. Its upcoming plans will mark a new era of collaborative ministry and evangelistic impact across Singapore, grounded in this premise.

Challenges and Opportunities
We continue to minister in a secular and fast-paced society where hearts can be resistant to faith. The journey from sowing to baptism requires patience, prayer, and personal connection. Retaining new believers—especially among young adults—remains a vital focus, calling for deeper mentoring and stronger community.

We also look ahead to long-term sustainability, as several church land leases will need to be renewed in the coming decades. Another urgent need is for more young men and women to answer God’s call to pastoral ministry.
Yet, in every challenge, we see opportunity. God reminds us that numbers or resources do not measure success, but rather our dependence on the Holy Spirit and our willingness to obey. Every obstacle is an invitation to greater faith and more profound commitment.

Renewing Our Commitment
As we reflect on 2025, we sense the Spirit’s call to move beyond “business as usual.” The times demand deeper prayer, stronger unity, and greater urgency for the gospel.

We therefore renew our covenant with Christ—to live for His purpose, to love our communities with compassion, and to lead souls into His everlasting kingdom.

May every member, pastor, and leader in Singapore stand together under the banner of Harvest 2025, until the final harvest is gathered and Jesus returns in glory.

“The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few.” May we go forth in faith and courage, until every heart knows the joy of Jesus.
