7 Ways Every Church Member Can Join the OneVoice27 Launch

All Things New August 27, 2026

September 5 is more than a launch date. It is an opportunity for the church to speak with one voice about the hope found in Jesus. Imagine opening social media and seeing the same message of hope shared by people from different countries, cultures, languages and generations.

A teacher shares a personal story. A young person posts a short video. A parent sends an encouraging message. A pastor shares a Bible promise. Someone who rarely creates content simply taps Share.

Different people. Different platforms. Different stories. But one message of hope.

On Sept. 5, 2026, Seventh-day Adventists across the Southern Asia-Pacific Division will join the launch of OneVoice27, a coordinated mission movement encouraging every church member around the world to use their influence, relationships and digital spaces to introduce people to hope in Jesus.

The public-facing message is All Things New, and members participating online are encouraged to use #AllThingsNew.

OneVoice27 does not require everyone to become a preacher, designer or content creator. It begins with a much simpler question:
What can one person do with what is already in their hands?

Here are seven ways every church member can participate.
1. PRAY — Begin Before Posting
Before members reach for their phones, they can begin with prayer. They can pray for a friend who needs encouragement. Pray for a family member searching for answers. Pray for someone silently struggling. Pray that every post, conversation and invitation will lead people closer to Christ.

The Sept. 5 launch is not simply about generating online activity. It is about creating opportunities for meaningful connections.

Members can ask:
“Lord, who needs hope today, and how can I reach that person?”
Prayer changes the purpose of a post. Instead of asking, “How many people will see this?” members begin asking, “Who might God reach through this?”

2. CREATE — Share a Story Only You Can Tell
Every church member has a story. It does not need professional lighting, expensive equipment or perfect editing. Members can share a short testimony, a Bible promise that encouraged them, a photograph with a meaningful reflection, a 30-second video or a simple story about how God brought hope during a difficult season.

The most powerful content may not come from a studio.
It may come from an ordinary person saying:
“This is how I found hope.”

That authenticity can open conversations that polished advertising sometimes cannot.
Create hope. Create conversations. Create opportunities for connection.

3. CUSTOMIZE — Make the Message Personal
Church members do not have to start from zero. OneVoice27 resources can provide materials that members and local churches can adapt for their communities. But instead of simply copying a message, members can make it personal.

Translate it into a local language.
Add a personal experience.
Connect it with something happening in the community.
Explain why the message matters personally.

A global message becomes more meaningful when it sounds like it came from a friend rather than an organization.

The message may be shared globally, but hope becomes personal when someone communicates it in a language, story and context another person understands.

4. SHARE — Your Network Is a Mission Field
Some people will say, “But I don’t create content.” That is OK. They can share.
One click can place a message of hope before hundreds of people who may never visit an Adventist website, attend an evangelistic meeting or enter a church.

On Sept. 5, members can participate in the coordinated posting moment following the commitment prayer by sharing approved All Things New content through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Messenger or other platforms they regularly use.
They can also send something directly to one person.

Because sometimes the most important reach is not 1,000 views. Sometimes it is one person. When posting publicly, members can help connect the worldwide conversation by using:

#AllThingsNew

5. ENGAGE — Don’t Stop at the Post
Posting is only the beginning.
Someone may comment:
“I needed this today.”

Someone else may send a private message:
“Can you pray for me?”

Another person may ask:
“What does this Bible verse mean?”

That is where digital mission becomes relational mission. Members can respond kindly. Listen before answering. Offer prayer. Continue the conversation privately when appropriate. OneVoice27 is not simply about filling social media feeds with Christian content. It is about recognizing that behind every account is a person.
The goal is not merely to reach screens. The goal is to reach people.

6. INVITE — Move From Online to Personal
Digital communication can open the door, but personal relationships can help people walk through it. When someone shows interest, church members can take the next step.

Invite that person to pray together.
Invite them to a small group.
Invite them to study the Bible.
Invite them to a community service activity.
Invite them to a local church program.
Or simply invite them for a conversation over a meal.

This is where OneVoice27 moves from reach to engagement to connection.
A post may begin the conversation. A relationship can continue it.

7. LIVE — Become the Message You Share
Perhaps the most important contribution to OneVoice27 will never appear on social media. People will see the message of All Things New through the lives of those who share it.

They will see it when a church member shows compassion.
When a young person chooses kindness.
When a family helps a neighbor.
When a professional serves with integrity.
When a church welcomes someone who feels alone.
When an Adventist listens before speaking.
The strongest evidence for the hope Christians proclaim is a life being renewed by Christ.

Before people believe what church members post, they may first watch how they live.
That makes every member part of the message.

One Day. One Message. Millions of Voices.
On Sept. 5, imagine what could happen. Across the Southern Asia-Pacific region and beyond, church members reach for their phones.

Some create.
Some customize.
Some share.
Others respond to comments, pray with friends, start conversations or extend invitations.

Not everyone will do the same thing. They do not need to.
OneVoice27 is not about making everyone communicate in exactly the same way. It is about mobilizing the gifts, stories, relationships and influence God has already placed in the hands of His people.

So when Sept. 5 arrives, the question is not:
“Am I a content creator?”

The better question is:
“Who can I encourage with hope today?”

Start with one prayer.
Create one story.
Customize one message.
Share one post.
Respond to one person.
Make one invitation.
Live the hope being proclaimed.

Different people. Different stories. Different platforms. One hope. One mission. One voice.
