TRUTH

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.  If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who give generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

TALK TO GOD
Lord, life can be a roller coaster with all its trials. I pray that You will show my husband how to find joy in each challenge that comes his way. Let these tests strengthen his faith and build his perseverance. Help him see the bigger picture—that these experiences will shape him into a more mature person. When he feels stuck and needs wisdom, remind him to come to You. You give wisdom generously, without hesitation or condition. Grant him the wisdom he is seeking and assure him that You will provide everything he needs. Let Your Word be his guide, like a GPS steering his heart and actions in the right direction. In Jesus’ name, amen.

TAKE ACTION
Increase validation and empathy in your marriage by using active listening statements such as: “I can see that you are very upset/sad/frightened.” “I can only imagine how that must have felt.” “Wow, that must have made you feel really angry/sad/confused/worried.” “I can see this is important to you.” Feel with your husband, but don’t always try to fix the situation immediately.
