When He Needs Help
Day 24 | PRAYING FOR YOUR PASTOR HUSBAND← Day 23: Finding Hope
Day 25: His Words
TRUTH
As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.
Psalm 42:1 NLT
TALK TO GOD
Lord, You are our source of life, the One we turn to when we feel empty. Today, I pray this for my husband. Let him long for connection with You like someone thirsting for a cold drink on a hot day. May he immerse himself in Your Word to find the wisdom and truth that guide his life. Help him keep his heart open to Your direction. When he tries to handle everything on his own, remind him to lean on You instead. When fear begins to creep in, replace it with faith. And when confusion overwhelms him, bring clarity to his mind. If he feels an emptiness within, help him find fulfillment in You. And when he is tempted to seek comfort in food, alcohol, or anything else that cannot truly satisfy, remind him that what he is really searching for is found only in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
THINK
Is there any way you are turning to temporary comforts instead of God? How are those substitutes affecting you or your marriage?
TAKE ACTION
If your husband is nearby, walk across the room and give him a meaningful kiss—just because.
