A Humble Heart

TRUTH

The sacrifices of god are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

TALK TO GOD
Lord, You desire humility. Brokenness allows You to lead us. I pray that You will help my husband find that humility in his heart. If there’s any pride sneaking in, replace it with humility. If he’s trying to do everything on his own, replace it with surrender. Where stubbornness is getting in the way, help him exchange it for a more broken and open heart. Where the messages of the world try to creep in and guide him, make Your message of love and grace so much louder. In Jesus’ name, amen.

TAKE ACTION
Confess to God the areas in your life where pride has been getting in the way of full surrender:

“Lord, I confess that I have been ___________________________. I am sure this has affected my relationship with my husband. Please forgive me. Thank You for Your forgiveness.”
