When He Needs Direction

Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I trust your commands.

TALK TO GOD
Lord, may my husband have good judgment and all the knowledge he needs to make the right choices. It is easy to try to do things on our own, thinking we have everything figured out, but we often forget that You are the One who knows everything and holds all power. Help my husband remember that he is not meant to go through life by himself. He was created for You to lead his life. Let him trust Your truth and view Your Word as his daily “marching orders.” I also pray that my husband will have a teachable heart. Remind him that every day, until the day he leaves this world, there is still so much he can learn about himself, others, the world, and most importantly, about You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Are you believing the best about your husband? Identify where you may not be believing the best about him, and reframe those thoughts so that you can see him through a more gracious and loving perspective.

TAKE ACTION
Speak one of the positive thoughts you have reframed about your husband directly to him. By speaking it aloud, you will affirm him and strengthen that belief in your own heart.
