Perfect Peace

TRUTH
“Pease I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubles, neither let them be afraid.”
John 14:27 ESV

TALK TO GOD
Lord, my husband could really use some of Your peace right now. Please help him focus on You and Your truth. When he is tempted to go his own way, gently prompt him to stop and listen to Your guidance so that he can experience the peace that comes from following You. I also pray that his heart will remain calm and that fear will not get the best of him, just as Peter walked courageously on the water with Jesus. Keep my husband’s eyes fixed on You, Lord, even when he is not fully familiar with Your truth or Your ways. When worry and fear try to creep in, replace them with peace and courage. If anxiety begins to steal his joy, exchange it for the serenity that only You can give. Let him feel Your presence and know You as the Prince of Peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
