Adventist leaders extend condolences to families affected by Lahore, Pakistan bombing

On behalf of our entire Adventist family in the Southern Asia-Pacific Division, we grieve over Sunday’s horrific tragedy in Lahore.  We cannot comprehend it but recognize the loss of those who were joyfully spending time with family on a day celebrating a foundation of the Christian faith – the resurrection of Jesus.

During these troubling times, our members in Lahore are the church’s hands to reach out and embrace those directly affected and who are in pain and grief.  We encourage Adventists not only in Pakistan but worldwide to foster compassion and change based on the peace found in a relationship with Jesus. May we each do all we can to bring comfort to the world around us.
