Orathai Chureson

Director, Adventist Children's Ministry | Ministerial Spouse Association


Dr. Orathai (Saw) Chureson is the director of Children’s and Family Ministries of Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD).  Her background is in the area of education where she specialized in curriculum and instruction and teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL).  Prior to the call to ministry, she served in various capacities as elementary teacher, tertiary instructor, clerk, librarian, and translator of children’s stories.  She was also engaged in various leadership roles at the local church, and as a pastor’s wife.  She is from Thailand.  She is married to Pastor Samuel Saw, president of Southern Asia-Pacific Division.  They have two young children: Amanda and Paul.
